Email and Workplace Friction Response


In almost all of the sensing sessions that interviews individuals in the workplace on the organization’s moral, lack of communication is  always the number one issue. I believe the evolution of email and social media has caused us to communicate even less effectively. I sent an email once to another individual and I put a couple of words in all caps to make them stand out in the body. Little did I know that is considered “yelling” in a written format. This caused the individual to get upset and he “yelled” back. I also do not type very fast, so sometimes my short responses are viewed as not interested or in a bad mood
