Two health care organizations have recently merged. The parent organization is a large medical clinic that is HIPAA compliant. The clinic recently acquired a remote medical clinic that provides a specialty service. The remote clinic is organized in a flat structure, but the parent organization is organized in a hierarchical structure with many departments and medical clinics. These organizations are in the process of aligning their operations. You are asked to make major refinements to the organization’s cell phone use policy immediately.
Read the scenario carefully and then research examples of organization’s or companies cell phone use policies that were implemented. Look at companies and university policies. Towson University has one I did. Write a report citing examples of at least three (3) successfully implemented organizational cell phone use policies found in your research. · Indicate how you would analyze the health organization, and then describe the implementation steps you would use to finalize the cell phone use policy.
· State and describe three (3) major refinements to the organization cell phone policy that you would make. Provide a clear rationale on each refinement as to why these changes are needed.
· Describe factors related to the success of these changes. Describe the types of business challenges that would have to be overcome or enhanced. Provide a rationale for these challenges.
· Cite and use at least three (3) examples of successful cell phone policies being used by companies.
