Define a word you didnt know from poem

Choose a word that you did not know from either “Editha,” “The Real Thing,” OR the scholarly article that you read for your Reading Response. Then do the following.

1.) Write the original sentence in which the word appears. Make sure you use quotation marks and include a proper MLA in-text citation.

2.) Define the word. Make sure to cite where you found the definition (dictionary.com, merriam-webster, etc.).

3.) In a sentence or two, explain how knowing the definition of the word changes or further enhances your understanding of the original sentence.

*Make sure to proofread/edit for grammar and mechanics. Don’t forget to include your MLA citations. See the MLA Citation section in the Start Here folder for help.
